After exporting from MyStudyDeck, tap the .apkg file in the share sheet and select "Open in AnkiMobile." On desktop, double-click the .apkg file or use File → Import in Anki. Your cards, including any images, will be imported automatically.
MyStudyDeck uses Apple's on-device VisionKit for text recognition. It supports Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Hindi, and Arabic. Language detection is automatic.
Translation uses Apple's built-in Translation framework and supports 13 target languages: English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Thai, and Vietnamese. All translation happens on-device.
No. OCR, card creation, and deck management all work offline. Translation may require a one-time language pack download through iOS Settings, but after that it works offline too.
Open MyStudyDeck, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." Your Pro unlock is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed into the same account at no extra cost.
MyStudyDeck stores all data locally on your device. Your data is included in iCloud backups and iTunes backups if you have those enabled. We recommend exporting important decks as .apkg files to iCloud Drive or Files for extra safety.
